Colorado rocket contractor lands $600M contract

The United Launch Alliance won a contract worth about $600 million to launch four NASA science and satellite communication missions into orbit starting in 2011.

Centennial-based ULA, the primary rocket contractor for government space missions, will send the satellites on its Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, in Florida.
